Privacy Policy
Last updated: replace this line with your actual publish date.
This Privacy Policy describes how mitos.dev ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, services, products, and free tools (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information we collect
- Account information (CMS admins only): name, email, and a hashed password. If you register a FIDO/WebAuthn security key, we store the public key and credential ID — never your biometric data itself, which never leaves your device.
- Contact form submissions: the subject, message, and sender email you provide are relayed to our team by email and are not stored in our database beyond what your email provider retains.
- Uploaded images (CMS admins only): files you upload through the CMS are stored to serve the public site.
- Usage data: if Google Analytics is enabled on a given page, standard analytics data (page views, device/browser type, approximate location) is collected by Google per their own policies.
2. How we use information
We use the information above solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Services, to respond to inquiries submitted via the contact form, and to secure the CMS admin area.
3. Third-party services
Some /services and /apis endpoints proxy requests to third-party
providers (e.g. RapidAPI-hosted models) strictly to fulfill the API call you
initiated. Google AdSense and Google Analytics, where enabled on a specific
page, operate under Google's own privacy policies.
4. Data retention & deletion
Contact form messages are not persisted in our database. CMS account and content data is retained for as long as the account/content exists. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us (see the Contact page).
